Rani is a licensed architect and Design Director at LMA with over 11 years of experience. Rani loves the process of design and creative collaboration at contrasting scales ranging from residential to more complex commercial projects. She believes that strong relationships with clients and listening carefully to their needs is the foundation for creating enduring and unique projects.

After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from UCLA, she earned a master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Virginia where she was awarded a certificate in design achievement. Her early career focused on residential design that ranged from prefab assemblies to high-end custom construction. At LMA, Rani’s projects have included commercial tenant improvements, restaurants, and off-the-grid residences.

Rani serves on AWA+D’s mentorship committee which helps to provide women with education and resources to navigate their careers in architecture. Outside of work, she loves to camp and road trip with her kids through many National Parks.
